"George Enescu" Festival to be held in Moldova
"George Enescu" International Music Festival, held under the patronage of the President of Romania will be organized in Chisinau. Thus, the National Philarmonic “Serghei Lunchievici” in the capital will host on September 20 an exceptional concert under this prestigious event.
According to the Romanian Culture Institute "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau, the concert will be supported by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic.

The program includes Symphony I, Op.13 by George Enescu, Violin and Symphony Orchestra Concert – “Moments” by Ghenadie Ciobanu and Pini di Roma by Ottorino Respinghi.

The soloist will be  the Moldovan violinist Rusanda Panfili. She started her international career from the very early age of ten and won the first international competition in Italy. At the age of 11 she became one of the youngest students of the Vienna Conservatory.

Also, the exhibition "George Enescu - personality of the Romanian and world culture" will be inaugurated on September 20 at the Gallery “La Rond” behind the monument of Stefan cel Mare si Sfint .
