Moldova and Israel held its first game of chess online for preschoolers
The first world online game of chess for children up to six years took place Sunday, April 26, between teams of Chisinau (Moldova) and Yehud-Monosson (Israel).
The were composed of ten children: eight boys and two girls. Chisinau was represented by the National Chess Academy’s team (master Viorel Iordachescu) and on behalf of city of Yehud-Monosson it has evolved the team of the Chess Academy, conducted by master Boris Alterman.

The opening match was attended by the mayor of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca and mayor of Yehud-Monosson Iaela Malkis. Also, the event was attended by the advisor of the Moldovan Ambassador to Israel, Grigore Butucea.

Both mayors, being big fans of chess, supported the initiative to conduct the international chess games online and have concluded a cooperation agreement to jointly promote chess among young generations in both countries and exchange experience, reads a press release of the National Academy of Chess in Moldova.

The Moldovan team played in the building of the municipal library B.P. Hasdeu and the Israeli team in the high school "Makif". Despite their young age, preschoolers showed a very good game and at the end, all them were awarded medals, cups and gifts offered by mayors, reads the release.

Ombudsman service is an independent source of information, explanation and analysis of the Public Broadcaster’s programs and adherence to European standards and practices of broadcasting programs’ development.

Ombudsman is a mediator who handles complaints between a televiewer /radio-listener or a group of people and the Broadcaster. Ombudsman replies to the questions of TV viewers and Radio-listeners, receives and reviews complaints from people.

“Ombudsman” was first used in its modern sense in 1809 when the Swedish Parliament established the office of Justitieombudsman, who was to look after citizens’ interests in their dealings with government.

Later, in 1988, a similar service was established in media in France. It was a real "explosion” that caused the appearance of similar services in other world countries.
