Ten Moldovan citizens deported from the EU and the Russian Federation during last week
From December 21 to 27, two Moldovans were not allowed in the European Union, while other two were deported. The Russian Federation limited the entry to six Moldovan citizens and deported eight, TRM.MD learned from the Border Police.
Border Police officers identified and detained 84 people who violated the border and migration law of Moldova: 19 people violated state border and crossings regime, four people violated the state border, and 24 foreign nationals exceeded their residence in Moldova.

During the reporting period, officials have registered seven persons documented for attempted illegal transportation of undeclared goods across the state border and 28 people in conflict with the law and five units of transport were apprehended while crossing the border

According to the source, in the last week, 26 foreign citizens were refused to enter Moldova.

During the mentioned period the Moldovan state border was crossed by 344,638 people and 74,749 vehicles. Between December 24 and 27, 2015, Moldova’s state border was crossed 205,016 times, 7.5% more than the same period last year.

Ombudsman service is an independent source of information, explanation and analysis of the Public Broadcaster’s programs and adherence to European standards and practices of broadcasting programs’ development.

Ombudsman is a mediator who handles complaints between a televiewer /radio-listener or a group of people and the Broadcaster. Ombudsman replies to the questions of TV viewers and Radio-listeners, receives and reviews complaints from people.

“Ombudsman” was first used in its modern sense in 1809 when the Swedish Parliament established the office of Justitieombudsman, who was to look after citizens’ interests in their dealings with government.

Later, in 1988, a similar service was established in media in France. It was a real "explosion” that caused the appearance of similar services in other world countries.
